Accepted and Restricted Materials for Roll Off Dumpsters
Roll off dumpsters are designed to accommodate a wide range of materials for efficient disposal. However, certain items are restricted to ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and environmental protection during the disposal process.
Acceptable Materials
- Appliances with CFC's removed & tagged

- Concrete (10 yard maximum)

Unacceptable Materials
- Appliances containing CFCs
- Batteries
- Hazardous Waste
- Medical Equipment
- Medical Waste (such as needles)

- Oils

Roll Off Guidelines
Please do not overfill roll off dumpsters. Contents must be level with the top of the container. The maximum weight limit is 10 tons (20,000 pounds).
If more than 10 tons are loaded, the customer will be responsible for removing the excess material.
Customer agrees that Elko Sanitation has the right to charge a fee of $150 for problems with delivery or pick up dealing with the roll off container, such as being overloaded or unable to access.
